Academy award winner Ernest Borgnine has performed in over 180 films. Frozen Stupid is the forth collaboration with director Rich Brauer, who wrote the part for Ernie. Ernie plays Frank Norgard, an eccentric ice fisherman.

as Tony Norgard

Joey hails from the Jeff Daniels Purple Rose Theatre, and continues to perform on stage and in films. His landmark role as Remnar in Escanaba in Da Moonlight showcased his comedic talents. Joey has appeared in feature films including Barn Red, Super Sucker and was Brauers first choice as the actor who could play Tony Norgard in Frozen Stupid.

Kimberly has worked with Brauer since 1999, when she was cast as Wolf Moon Dance in Escanaba in Da Moonlight. She has been in numerous feature films including Hidalgo, Naturally Native, Barn Red and has appeared on Seinfeld, Walker-Texas Ranger, Northern Exposure and many others.

Michelle has worked in numerous Purple Rose Theatre Company stage productions, as well as films including Jeff Daniels feature comedy Super Sucker and Brauers dramatic land stewardship film Barn Red. She is a trusted and spirited actor.  Michelle plays Tony's supportive wife Lila in Frozen Stupid.

This is Pike Heads first performance, ever. He was hatched specifically for exploitation to portray a pike head and had no previous experience. “Pike Head really immersed himself in the story” said Brauer, “and seems to have aspirations for future work.” In the meantime, Pike Head has been nailed to a wall at Brauer Productions.
